International Box Day a'la Kwee Cats

Happy International Box Day!

We had so many box photos, we decided what we need is a montage.  So we took all our favorite ones we collected between last year’s and this years International Box Day and made us a collagamontection.  Yup, that’s what we did.  We hope you enjoy it, we sure had fun making it.

 

We appreciate everyone over at Peaches and Paprika and at  Wag ’n Woof Pets for hosting this great fun!

Duchess does not get excited about boxes.  (We know, we don’t know what’s wrong with her either.  Mumsy even put her in a box.  Duchess said, “Woooo” and then jumped out and ran to Mumsy.  She even tried putting Duches and a box alone together in a room.  Duchess said, “Woooo….. oooooo…. wwwoooooooooooo” till Mumsy came and let her out.)  So, Piewhackits has a post for International Box Day over at the Tabby Cat Club.  Duchess is in her comfy, soft, warm bed.  Yup.

We Kwee Cats on Wednesday

The middle of the week seems to be a good time to catch up.  We want to share some of the stuff we’ve been up to lately.

First, Domino got his Yoga Merit Badge in Cat Scouts.  He’s doing his “Nose Gently Kissing Tail in Westward Setting Puddle of Sun” move that he practiced till he got it perfect for the Yoga Badge.  And, as you can see, he’s on his preferred mat of paper that makes a very nice crinkle sound.

 

And Pungy got her Family Love Merit Badge by writing a poem to Mumsy.

 

Next, we won this awesome prize from Sammy and his Tuesday Teaser event.

There were some other prizes, but they weren’t as good as this one….yup.  If you’d like to play too, Sammy has one each Tuesday on his blog, One Spoiled Cat. You should totally go check it out.  Unless, for some reason you don’t like prizes….hmmmmmm, we’d never thought of that possibility before.

And we got a Mumsy drawing to share!  She did this for a Challenge in her Sketch Club.

We think that does it for us for today.  We sure hope all you wonderful Friends have a good rest of the week.  Thank you very much for coming to visit it - we greatly appreciate it.  We got the best Friends ever!  Lots of hugs and love to all of you, we’ll see you later.

 

 

No Falls Here

We been gone a long time, again. Our Mumsy had her mental problems act up and had to go away and deal with them for a while. She still has some big problems with depression, but at least she's mostly functional at a few things. Thankfully, those few things include feeding, petting and caring for us Kwee Cats. And making posts. We hope we can keep her "post functional" as we miss our friends. We hope everyone is doing okay. And we sure are sorry we weren't around and missed your events, happenings and adventures.

We decided the annual Blogosphere Trip would be a good place for us to jump back in! Especially when we saw it was going to go to Niagara Falls. We googled photos and decided, yup, that's a place for making jump ins alright.

We arrived at the hotel.

And we like our room really good. But there is just one problem with this whole thing....

Duchess says its something about needing to turn them on, but we can't figure out how! And, we gotta say, this is a pretty cool trip, but these "Falls" are not as they were pictured.

We Turned the Camera Around

Happy Mother's Day everybody!

For Mother's Day, we turned the flashy box around on our Mumsy!  We used our very own paws and took pictures of our Mumsy!  Mom Pungy was trying to help position Mumsy.  Piewhackits discovered her nose would work even better than her paw to snap the picture!

Caturday Art and Celebrating a Friend

We Got a Halloween!

After fussing so bad at Mumsy for not ever, ever, ever making us a post – AND causing us to miss everything…ev-furry-thing… We has to say, she has redeemed almost made up for it.

We got kind of worried on account her iPad is terminally ill with “no-new-operating-system-for-you” …whatever that is. So, she had to take a few days and find some programs to use on her PC. Then she had to practice some. And we got real impatient.

But, tada! Even though they’re a little rough in some places – we got a Halloween! Yaaaaaaaay! We so happy. We hope you guys all like our outfits too.

First, we got Oliver, Piewhackits, Odysseus and Duchess!

Then, we got Domino, Pungy and Sneaky Pie!

We did not forget some treats too! So evfurrybody help yourself!

AND

Evfurrybody has some fun!

…we figure that now she’s got it mostly figured out now on her PC, we need to make sure Mumsy gets plenty more practice and make us more posts now!

Oh my Cod! We Finally Did a Post!

Hello evfurry one. We has to say we are not happy with our Mumsy.

We mean...how hard is it to make us a post?! Really! We has missed evfurry thing - ev-furry-thing! Ugh! Mo Cat's Day, Meow Like a Pirate, Livestrong... Ev-furry-thing! Just missed! We are soooooo upsetted.

All we gots to say is like this: Angel MoMo is hasing a Halloween Party - we better be there or we gonna has to think of something drag-stic. If anyone's gots suggestions, we are all listening!

Now, evfurrybody has a good weekend. And Mumsy better keep her keyboard close!

Happy Fourth of July from the Kwee Cats

Hello to all our dear friends! We appreciate all of you, especially those who did not let us feel forgotten.

We've been gone so long, I'm not sure how to be back. We missed posting on so many occasions. But thanks to wonderful Ms. Ann at Zoolatry, I and the Kwee Cats were able to keep up with a lot of what was going on. For several years now, I struggle a lot with something called schizoaffected disorder, arthritis and diabetes. Sometimes, I get overwhelmed. Sometimes I just get so depressed I loose how to be me. So it's an ongoing learning kind of thing for me. How to be, now. With my sweet kitties leading the way, as usual, we are just taking one day at a time; and sometimes one hour at a time.

We wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July!

And to our Canadian friends, a belated Happy Canada Day!

Everyone have a happy!

Halloween Party at Castle Felinestein

Hi Evfurryone!

We been missing all our wonderful friends so much. Our Mumsy just has not felt like doing very much at all. But it's okay, we dis got all that much more attention to help her all that much more. But that's enough of that.

With sweet Miss MoMo's gentle guidance, Miss Duchess and Piewhackits gots joined in the alliance with the beautiful Ladies of Autumn. They so excited, especially young Piewhackits. The Ladies of Autumn are having this super great Halloween Party that you guys has just gots to come see! Bess and Scout are both founding members and are waiting to greet everyone! Admiral Hestorb and MoMo are both hostesses. And you guys just won't believe all the food and treats - you dis gots to see it to believe it!

We were real worried we'd not get to go, what with Mumsy being all out of order :-( but wonderful MoMo came to our rescue and we all gets to go to the party too! Miss MoMo put a smiles on all our faces, including our Mumsy. So, we sending her just buckets of hugs and wuzes. Thank you so much, Miss MoMo. You dis mean biggie muches to us.

Mo Cats and LOL Cats

Our Mumsy had a little kitty...
One that was a stray...

Mumsy fed her, and loved her
and Miss Duchess decided to stay.
She is now matriarch, free with no pay
Here she rules all she may survey.

Domino was being abused by some children.
So from them, Cat Daddy Junior took him away.
Domino decided this is a good place
to live, sleep and play.

Poor Oliver was tossed out, thrown away.
His pretty long fur matted with dirt and clay.
He was so sweet, Mumsy asked him to please stay
Now he gives her hugs every day.

Pungy was a tiny kitten, a small gray stray.
Mumsy loved her immediately
Little Punge and Cat Daddy Junior, every day
Love to play

Then, much to our dismay,
Little Pungy fell out of the window.
Mumsy cried till finally Pungy came home
In the family way.

Pungy had, after her foray,
Three little kittens that had a lot to say
As food dishes began to look like a buffet,
Mumsy's love never did sway.

Piewhackits, Sneaky Pie and Odysseus
Joined our family on their birthday.
As each furry life, to here found their way,
Our Mumsy said Mo Cats, Mo Cats! Are very okay!

We are so excited! Miss Wendy LOL'd us! She is good at LOL'ing! We like our LOL's so much we are going to present and share them one at a time. But, we'll understand if you get excited and just has to go Miss Wendy's LOL-Spot and see them all now!

Our first one is, very appropriately, sweet Miss Duchess!

Oh, we got a Pee Ess too: Our Mumsy does writing Flash Fiction. But that poem is the first poem our Mumsy has written. And she did it for us! Amazing what a few Mo Cats can do for a hum-man, ain't it?

Labor of Love Thank You to ML

Us Kwee Cats have not been in the Cat Blogosphere as long as most of our wonderful friends. But it did not take us long to figure out, it is a great place to be! So from Mumsy Kwee and all the Kwee Cats, we give big purrs and many kitty kisses with our super thank you to ML, for all the wonderful caring things she does all the time. (((HUGS))) to you, ML!

Kwee Cats and MoMo in San Francisco

 

While SS was away, the Kwee Cats took MoMo for a long weekend visit to San Francisco, California!

We had fun riding the trolley car!

Down on Fisherman’s Wharf, we found all kinds of very yummy nom-noms, and made some new friends!

We Got the Sweetest Friends

 

Hi ev-furry-body!

We sure are glad for when we get to visit with our friends.  Like so many families, we just got to be patient with our humans sometimes.  Our Mumsy talks about “human stuff” on her Blogginer.  This one is ours and we are ready to give some attentions!

A couple of our friends were real interested in our Waterfall and our Bridge.  So, we thought first we’d share some fun…

Thank you, everyone over at Katnip Lounge for the big check you gave us for your personalized copy of the Bridge.  Odysseus is happy to deliver yours, personally!  We hope you enjoy your new Bridge!

Next, Mr. Pip wanted a Bridge too.  We will always accept the green currency – catnip!  But we want you, Mr. Pip, to enjoy the Peanut Butter Bones Treats!  You’re a great guy, take such good care of your family, and you sure deserve them.

Father Tom wanted a waterfall to go with his beach.  We threw in the little froggies just for good measure!  We hope you enjoy it!

Then our great friend Brian really wanted a waterfall too.  We’ve been looking for something nice we could do for him.  He does so much good for so many.  We pawed up a waterfall and surrounded it with catnip just for you!  We sure hope you enjoy it, Brian, you’re a great guy.

Now we saved the last ones for the best ones….

Wonderful Mr. Puddy and wonderful Mr. Clooney both gave us…Tada!  The Irresistibly Sweet Blog Award!  It’s our first Award and we got excited!  Thank you, Mr. Puddy and Mr. Clooney, so much!  We think you guys are just the best.

Now, we been thinking of doing something for Mr. Puddy and for Mr. Clooney ever since Bora Bora day… soooooooo…..

Back on Bora Bora day, it looked like Mr. Clooney wasn’t going to get to go on account he’d missed his boat.  So, for Mr. Clooney, the Kwee Mancats gots the NipAle!  We sure hope it makes you smile as much as you make us smile.  Thank you, Mr. Clooney!

Also back on Bora Bora day, our little hearts were sad Mr,. Puddy didn’t get to share in all the yum-yum shrimps… soooooo….. Just for you, Mr. Puddy, bunches and bunches of shrimps!  Some on the grill and some boiled up ready to go!  We sure hope you enjoy them and that they make you smile as much as you make us smile.  Thank you, Mr. Puddy !

1. Oliver snores!

2. Sneaky Pie likes to lick the cheese off of Doritos.

3. Piewhackits likes to play with the bubbles in soda pop.

4. Odysseus really is afraid of her shadow.

5. Domino drools when he’s asleep.

6. Pungy’s name is Liddy Pung and she likes to Mommy Mumsy.

7. Miss Duchess has a little brown spot between two of her white furred fingers.  When she first decided to live here, Mumsy thought it was dirt and kept trying to wash the brown spot off!

Our 15 friends to pass the award on to… gosh, we don’t want to have to pick only 15 out of all our friends!  We wuz all you guys!  So we gonna do what Mr. Puddy said and follow the Cat’s Rule… we give this award to ALL our friends – we wuz you – friends like all you guys are just the… Sweetest.

We got Wets!

 

Hi Ev-furry-body!

All the past bunches of days, we got  R-A-I-N.  It bee all that wet what falls from the c-l-o-u-d-s… hee-hee :-)   It just has been so long since we had good rains we felt like we might need to re-explainz-it.

We gots us so much nice, pretty, rains we made a waterfall in the backyard!  With our ownz little paws… weeee made it…  See?!?!?!

Hee.heee, hee, heee, hee-hee…..

We also gots a nice bridge for sale too!  Hee-hee!  We understand itz been sold a bunches of timez, but HEY!  Its just like new!  Hee-hee…  hee-hee-hee…hee-hee!

World Cat Day

 

Today, we celebrate World Cat Day 2011.

Our Mumsy wanted to share what she appreciates us teaching her.  We teach her about confidence, showing her how to never be self-conscious about expressing how we feel or what we think.  Our Mumsy always tries to follow the rule, “To Thy Own Self Be True.”  We teach her how to do it as we live every day unapologetically being ourselves.
